Industrial Kids Table

My little one loves to draw, paint and create and so I wanted to give her a space of her own to do this. I am also hoping that if she has a designated space for this, I will find less crayon and marker on the walls too. So we decided to do an IKEA Hack and make-over a LATT table and chairs to something functional, beautiful and totally our style. Check out our Industrial Kids Table and learn how you can recreate one yourself.

Vintage Dresser Gets A Mid Mod Makeover

Tuesday, October 23, 2018 - 08:07 by Home Right | Comments

Hello, HomeRight readers. It is Lindsay from My Creative Days back with one of my favorite makeovers to share with you!

I love creating looks I love for less. It is something I have been passionate about for years and it is the way I have been decorating our home for the past 18 years. When we moved to our first house, I wanted to find ways to decorate it like I saw in magazines and on TV, but that would stay within our budget. DIY became our new favorite thing. DIYing has enabled us...

If you could update just one room in your house which one would it be? Me? I would choose my bathroom. It needs remodeled desperately, but it's just not in the budget right now.

So here's what I decided. Until I can have the bathroom of my dreams, I will make the most out of what I do have. And the first thing I did was to get it clean. Everything looks better when it's shiny and clean, right? And by clean, I mean deep down clean.

Here's how I got my bathroom as clean as it can possibly be. By using the...

How To Quickly Stain a Dog Bed

Monday, October 15, 2018 - 15:44 by Home Right | Comments

I love buildings things, especially items that might cost a fortune in the stores. I have been wanting a rustic looking dog bed to match the rest of my decor, but when I realized it would be much cheaper to build it myself I quickly drew up my plans and got to it! Of course my favorite part, other than seeing it complete, is adding the finishing details.

You can see how I built the dog bed here, but adding the finishing...

The Look for Less: High End Console Makeover for less than $300

Friday, October 12, 2018 - 13:36 by amy.boyle | Comments

If you are a fan of getting a high-end look at a low-end price, then I have a great project to share with you today. I have had my eye on the Andrews Console Table from Ballard Designs for, I don't know, years (!) but just couldn't justify paying almost $900 for it.  I found a way to get the exact same look for under $300 and I have to say, I think it turned out great.

If you aren't familiar, here is a look at the original console I wanted, it retails for $900 plus shipping charges. I love it, but...
