Project Steps

This was HomeRight's 4th year sponsoring a booth at SNAP! Conference. We know that many of you may wonder what is SNAP? It is a conference where creative bloggers get together to share, inspire and celebrate each other. HomeRight was considered a sponsor at this event. We have been a sponsor of this event for the past 3 years; however this year had a completely different feel. This year they limited ticket sales to 300 compared to the 700 in previous years. This year they also had over 75% new attendees (bloggers). So onto the things that we learned.

1. #Girlboss - This is a great group of women that are bloggers, but really business owners and mother's too. It is unbelievable the amount of things these women have accomplished and they really do have their finger on the pulse of social media and trends. We loved getting to know these women and look forward to collaborating with them in 2018. Pictured below is Wendy Kelly from our Sales Department and myself (Laura Clark), we loved meeting all the bloggers that stopped by our booth. We also enjoyed spending the day exploring Salt Lake City with a few people we met at SNAP because our flight back to Minnesota was canceled because of a huge blizzard back in Minnesota.

2. New Products - We introduced two new products at this conference and these bloggers were so incredibly excited about the products. The first product is the Medium Spray Shelter, which is formatted like the Small Spray Shelter, but larger. Perfect for nightstands and small dressers. We also introduced the SteamMachine Elite, which is just like the SteamMachine, but now has a triangle mop head that works so well and also comes with all the attachments including the storage bag.

3. The 80s party was the best - We could not get over what great dancers these #girlbosses are, they cut a rug like nobody’s business. The party was so much fun!

4. It is so much fun to spray paint in our booth. We had a line a mile long for people to spray our make and take project in our booth. Bloggers used the Super Finish Max in the Small Spray Shelter to spray either a camper, floral wreath, chevron triangle or barn star sign all by Walnut Hollow. In the Super Finish Max was Decor Art Metallic Matte finish in pewter, silver or rose gold. This make and take was so much fun and they projects turned out so great. Overall, this was a great experience and we are excited to see what 2019 has to offer since they announced that SNAP! Conference sold and in 2019 will be coordinated by two bloggers that have attended since the beginning. We cannot wait to see how great 2019 will be.
