Project Steps

When I come across an old bed frame that has great details, is super cheap and can be turned into a cute bench, I pick it up. This twin bed frame was such a great deal and I loved the "scrolls" on the head board. I thought it was the perfect candidate for a bench.

Step 1

I have posted many bed-to-bench projects and we put this one together just like the others. I did cut down the spindles because they were way to high and we used left over wood we had in the garage for the seat.

Step 2

I set up my handy dandy HomeRight Spray Shelter and used the HomeRight Finish Sprayer to paint this sweet, little bench a soft green color.

Step 3

Once the paint dried, I sanded down the edges to give it a worn look.

Step 4

This old bed has come a long way since I picked it up at the yard sale.
