Project Steps

The kids are back in school, the weather is beginning to turn cooler, and we are spending more time indoors. Now is the perfect time to deep clean your whole house, taking care of the areas we only clean a few times a year, before the busyness of the holidays sets in. The SteamMachine is the perfect tool for cleaning and sanitizing almost every surface in your home, from the bathroom to the bedroom to the kitchen, just by switching out the attachments!

Head over to Real Girl's Realm to get more tips and my Fall Cleaning Checklist!

Step 1

The squeegee attachment is perfect for cleaning hard surfaces or glass such as windows, counter tops, and shower doors.

Step 2

The small round brush is my go-to for scrubbing hard to reach areas, like around the bottom of faucets, grout lines, and sink drains. It also scrubs away grime on your appliances, like the oven hood and door. The small round brush comes in two bristle options: brass and nylon.

Step 3

The jet nozzle and crevice tool can blast grime around the bottom of the toilet, grooves in door thresholds and window sills, and baseboards.

Step 4

The chenille mop pad can be used to get the dust off your ceiling fan blades, HVAC vents, and baseboards.

Step 5

The large brush is great for tackling tile floors, while the mop pad works for tile, sealed hardwood, and other hard surfaces.

I realized after spending the weekend cleaning these neglected areas, that I should probably be doing this more than twice a year, especially when it is so quick and easy with the SteamMachine!
