DIY Shiplap Wall with HomeRight
I’m so excited to share this sneak peek of the weekend project we just did. I’ve been looking into doing a shiplap accent wall in my home for YEARS… (thank you Joanna Gaines!), and our nursery was the perfect opportunity.
We did a black and white, geometric themed nursery for our little guy, and this wall was the last piece of the puzzle, I cannot believe what a difference it has made in the overall look of the room and just making it all come together. Just take a look at this before and after:
For this project we used, ¼ sheets of plywood cut down into 6-inch slats, that we sanded and painted white with our Super Finish Max Paint Sprayer.
We used two sawhorses and a piece of thicker plywood, as our make-shift table and we layered three coats of paint, waiting for each piece to be completely dry before adding the next coat.
To get the full tutorial, and to see how we added each piece row by row, head over to read it here. This wall really made this space come together beautifully.
It’s no surprise that we love projects that are quick, easy and fun. Honestly, any excuse to use our HomeRight Super Finish Max Paint Sprayer, because it makes painting projects such a pleasure, and this one was no exception.
