Project Steps

Reclaimed Hickory Wood Countertops by Prodigal Pieces | prodigalpieces.com

Giving your house a vintage, farmhouse theme is the perfect way to make your home feel brand new. This design is light, earthly, and will make you feel like you're living in a simpler time filled with flowing pastures, abundant trees, and fresh soil. Larissa with Prodigal Pieces is currently remodeling her entire kitchen with this beautiful theme, and recently updated her bar stools and countertop to match. She bought these three bar stools off of Craiglist for a mere $20, and she decided they'd fit her kitchen perfectly after a quick remodel. Here's how you can do this too:

1) Fix up your bar stools so that they're nice and sturdy. Larissa had to reglue her seats because they literally popped off.

2) Sand down your pieces

3) Use your Large Spray Shelter and Finish Max Super paint sprayer to easily paint your bar stools the way you want them

It's seriously just that easy! For more fun details about how Larissa did this project, head on over to her blog
