Project Steps

Have you ever started a project and then got stuck? After the initial excitement of buying the supplies, you lose steam and don't know where to start. I think we have all been there. I recently stepped in and help my niece pull together her new bedroom with the things she had already collected. The Super Finish Max Extra came in handy when I was gving some of the furniture makeovers.

Step 1

Clean the Surface

Make sure to clean the piece of furniture you are going to paint and fill in any cracks or dents with paintable, sandable putty.

Step 2

Sand the Wood

Once any putty you added has dried, sand it smooth. Sanding also helps the new coat of paint to adhere to the surface.

Step 3

Get Ready to Paint

After you have wiped off the dust from sanding, it is time to paint! I set up my new Medium Spray Shelter. It pops up and has a floor. It couldn't be easier than that! I added the coral paint to the Super Finish Max Extra and I was ready to go.

Step 4

Paint Several Coats

Several light coats are better than one or two heavy coats. Wait the correct amount of time between coats. Once it as fully dried, you can move the furniture into the new space!

Step 5

Enjoy the "New" Furniture!

I not only painted the side table my niece bought at the thrift store, but I also painted the bed posts. It looks like a whole new room!
