Grilled pineapple is one of my favorite treats, but I decided to take it up a notch by coating it with a delicious mixture of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon before grilling it. And if that didn't make it delicious enough, I turned it into a dessert by topping it with ice cream, chocolate syrup and coconut flakes! This dessert is oh-so-delicious and so incredibly easy to make because I got my grill going in just a few minutes with the HomeRight ElectroLight! Woot woot!
Place charcoal into grill and use the HomeRight ElectroLight to get it started. To get your charcoal going with the ElectroLight, you simply need to plug it in and turn it on and let the super hot heat catch the charcoal bricks on fire. It will only take a few minutes to get the charcoal going and ready to cook with!
Once the charcoal is going, you will place your lid on your grill and prep your pineapple.
You will want to create a mixture with your butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and coat your pineapple slices on both sides with it.

Then you will place your pineapple slices on your grill and let them cook for a few minutes on each side until they get those picture-perfect grill lines and the pineapple is warm and tender.
Remove the pineapple from the grill and let it cool a bit.
You can eat it as is, or you can top it with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and coconut flakes to turn it into the best, grilled, summertime dessert ever!

Using the HomeRight ElectroLight to start our grill is the quickest way to get a charcoal grill going without lighter fluid. To be honest, I actually hated how long using a chimney stacker took to get a charcoal grill going, that I would never do it on my own. But since the ElectroLight means I can get my grill going in just a few minutes, I love to grill on my own now. It is easy, fast and grilled food just tastes the best when grilled on a non-lighter fluid charcoal grill.
