- HomeRight Steam Machine
I am not a great house cleaner. It's not that I can't clean a house, it's just that I don't do it as often as I should. Isn't that most of us though? Don't worry - there isn't mold growing on week old food stuck to a plate on the counter or anything like that. However, there are quite a few fingerprints on the appliances and there may be a questionable substance or two on the countertops. Things are changing in the kitchen cleaning department around here though. I'm going to start cleaning it more often. That's right. I'm going to clean my kitchen more - because I've figured out just how easy it is to clean by using one single tool - the HomeRight Steam Machine.
Fill the steamer up with water as stated in the instruction booklet.
Generally, I start with cleaning the grout and backsplash.
To clean the grout, attach the nylon scrub brush to the end of the steam machine's nozzle and scrub the grout, backsplash, etc.
Keep a dry towel on hand to wipe up the excess water from the steam.
Clean the counters.
To clean the counters, remove the nylon brush and simply spray steam over the countertop as you wipe it dry with a towel. The steam kills any germs. If you have any tough stuck-on spots, hit them with a shot of steam and then use a plastic scraper to remove them. I had to do this with some dried on paint that was on my counters.
Steam clean your sink.
To clean the sink, use the angled nozzle on the end of the steamer. Steam the sink with one hand and come behind with a sponge, wiping away the dirt and grime. Be sure to not get your hands too close to the steam - as it is extremely hot and will burn you.
Clean your kitchen faucet by simply spraying it with steam and wiping it down with a dry cloth.
Clean your appliances.
I use the Steam Machine to clean all the exteriors of my stainless steel appliances. Simply shoot the steam directly onto the appliance and come behind it with a dry towel.
Clean the stovetop.
Clean the stovetop the same way you cleaned the appliances. Steam it.
Then wipe down with a towel.
