Project Steps

When you receive an invitation to a wedding, one of your first thoughts might be, "What present should I get the bride and groom?". While you could easily go to the store and purchase something generic, there are many ways that you can personalize a wedding gift to be something that the happy couple will cherish for years to come. Rachel Teodoro recently created this unique wedding tray, which would be a great gift for any newlywed!

Rachel used her Silhouette Cameo to cut out a personalized message for the tray. This is where you can really get creative! Rachel chose to include the couple's last name and the date of their wedding. She used the 3" Shape Stainer and the 5" Fence Stainer to easily stain the tray.

Once the cut out phrase was in place, Rachel applied the stain. She loved how both of these tools easily and evenly apply material to the surface.

Afterwards, Rachel peeled off the lettering to complete the tray. This project is quick and simple, but will mean the world to the newlywed couple! For more information on this thoughtful project, head to Rachel Teodoro's blog.
