Project Steps

Summer grilling is a must in my household; it's one of my favorite things to do especially when grilling is quick and easy. I always prefer charcoal grilling since it adds an extra flavor, but I dread trying to get the charcoal started. That was until I started using HomeRight's ElectroLight Fire and Charcoal Starter. You can also use the NEW Electro-Torch.

If you want to see more grilling recipes, head to the "Recipes" section on our blog to see how to make easy hamburgers, bacon wrapped asparagus, steak kebabs, roasted garden salsa, and more!

Starting a charcoal grill with the HomeRight ElectroLight

The ElectroLight Fire and Charcoal Starter makes summer grilling quick and easy. Within a couple minutes your grill will be ready to use.

So, here's how to use it:

First add charcoal to the BBQ. Next plug in your HomeRight ElectroLight Fire Starter.

Then touch the tip to the charcoal making sure not to bury it.

Next, pull the trigger and in about 15-30 seconds sparks will become visible. Pull the tip back and let the blower fuel the flame for another 2-3 minutes.

After you grill the chicken you can serve as is or it's also great over a salad. You'll want to grab the entire recipe HERE.
The best part of using the ElectroLight is that no lighter fluid or fire starter is needed! The only extra flavor you get is from the charcoal itself. The ElectroLight is the perfect accessory for campfires, fire pits, barbecuing and more.
