Project Steps

Intro

Outdoor furniture can take its toll when it faces years in the sun. But no need to trash and replace, instead make it new! Repainting outdoor furniture is easier than you think when using the Finish Max Super. The new Finish Max Super comes with 3 spray tips (3 additional sizes are also available) so you can select the perfect spray tip for the project at hand. You now have less hassle thinning the paint and more time to get your project done!

Step 1

Prepare your furniture for painting. You may need to lightly sand your furniture if the existing paint is chipping. You can see my furniture has seen better days, especially the coffee table! Once done, wipe down everything.

Step 2

Setup your Large Spray Shelter and lay down a drop cloth. Make sure you setup in a well-ventilated area, like outside.

Step 3

Gather your painting supplies. I used a latex paint intended for outdoor projects in a medium grey color. Then based on the Finish Max Super instructions I used the green (2.0mm) nozzle for my project.

Step 4

Start painting! I only needed 2 coats to cover the furniture. Isn't it amazing how two simple coats transformed this piece?

Step 5

After everything is dry you’re ready to enjoy your furniture once again! Don’t forget to style and decorate as you like. It’s amazing what a little paint can do; my outdoor furniture set looks brand new. Don't forget to head on over to my blog, A Shade of Teal for more projects! Thanks for reading!
