- HomeRight Super Finish Max Paint Sprayer
- Semi-gloss paint
- HomeRight Large Spray Shelter
I absolutely love sitting on our front porch, so as soon as the weather starts to turn warm, I get our outdoor furniture ready.
A few weeks ago, I found a set of vintage wicker furniture for a great price and knew that with a little TLC, I'd be able to replace our current set that was falling apart.
After a quick rinse and scrub to remove dust, pollen (our Southern nemesis!), and cobwebs, I let the furniture dry in the sun while preparing my Super Finish Max paint sprayer. I opted to use semi-gloss black paint (that I thinned with a little water) and the green tip.
The HomeRight Large Spray Shelter is also a key part of my spray-painting efforts. It protects my projects from sun, wind, and dust (and since it started sprinkling soon after the second coat of paint was applied--it also works as an umbrella!).
Trust me when I tell you that wicker should ALWAYS be spray-painted! After two to three quick coats, my "new" furniture was ready to be put into use on the front porch.
I found new black and white striped cushions on sale (details are on our blog HERE) and that finished things off perfectly, in my opinion.
We're now ready for some serious porch-sitting and people-watching, wouldn't you agree?
