Project Steps

It's so fun to remodel a child's bedroom with a unique theme or style. Does your child want a princess theme? A superhero theme? A jungle theme? The possibilities are endless! We are absolutely in love with the way Charlotte with At Charlotte's House is remodeling her kids' bedroom. Her recently project: Transforming an old, thrift store table that she bought for $5. Now it matches perfectly with the rest of the room's decor!

Clean the Surface and Tape

Charlotte started by cleaning the surface of the table and then taping off the top since she only wanted the legs and sides painted.

Prime and Paint

Next, she primed and painted the table in the Medium Spray Shelter so that her lawn wouldn't be covered in overspray! She used a spray can to paint, but you could also use an HVLP sprayer like the Super Finish Max or regular Finish Max to lay down a smooth, fine finish. Charlotte also rotated the table by using the TurnTable so that she could easily paint all the sides.

Add Contact Paper and Enjoy

Finally, Charlotte completed the table by adding contact paper to the top! Isn't this design fun? Now her kids have the perfect place to play at! Be sure to head to the At Charlotte House blog for the FULL POST on this project or you can watch the video below!
